Registration opens on June 4th and closes on August 10th. Due to COVID19 we had to postpone the registration window. After your registration, you will get further instructions per email and login data a few days before the conference starts.
Online Conference Fees (including taxes)
- Full Conference Ticket (all days): 240 EUR (including taxes)
- Student Ticket (all days): 80 EUR (including taxes)
The tickets are personalized and non-transferable. Refunds are possible until August 3rd for a service fee.
What we use the conference fee for
In order to allow for a convenient online Conference experience, we will use the conference fees for the following organizational tasks and features: license fees of the IST2020 Conference Platform Software, professional full HD streaming, directed on-stage online hosting, provision and training of technical hosts for each session, production of online tutorials for IST2020 participants, the design of IST2020 Gallery (as well as the individual set up of the Gallery for each contribution), as well as the provision of a helpdesk, Opportunity for Networking & Socializing Events throughout the whole conference.
Purchase on Account
If it is not possible for you and your organisation to order the ticket through Eventbrite, there is now the option “purchase on account”. To do so, send us an email to ist2020(at)ait.ac.at with the subject: IST2020 invoice with the following information:
- First name & surname participant
- Billing address
- Email address participant
- Ticket type: Regular Ticket or Student Ticket
- From which time zone will you participate?
- Email address for sending the invoice (if different)
- VAT Number
As soon as we have received your payment (you are welcome to send us a confirmation of bank transfer) we will register you manually for the conference. You will then receive a registration confirmation from Eventbrite.
Data protection

Your personal data provided during registration will be processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. With the registration you give your consent, your contact data will be processed after the event in order to provide you with information about activities related to the IST2020 conference. Your data will also be submitted to our project partners WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and an external service provider for the purpose of organizing the technical part of the conference.
During the event, the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH (Giefinggasse 4, 1210 Vienna, +43 50550-0 ) will be responsible for the production of images and video recordings for internal documentation, follow-up reporting and information on future identical or similar events. Following the event, data will be stored for a minimum period of 15 years.
You have the right of access to your personal data. In addition you have the right to obtain the rectification or erasure of your data. You further have the right to obtain the restriction of processing or the right to transmit your data to another controller under the specific terms of the General Data Protection Regulation. In addition you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
If your personal data is being processed based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. If you are of the opinion that your data is processed unlawfully, you have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
In order to exercise your rights, please contact: ist2020@ait.ac.at. If you do not wish to have pictures taken of you, you can inform us or the photographer resp. the video producer on site at any time.
