O: Full Paper Session

Due to the new circumstances we will limit this format to contributions based on a full paper, which has to be submitted via EasyChair until 24th July (Deadline extended). Also the main presenter needs to be registered before 24th July (Deadline extended). The live presentations should not last longer than 12 minutes. This leaves 10 minutes of discussion for each presentation. Unless noted otherwise, the last presenter in the program will chair the session. There will be a technical host/moderator for each session provided by the local organizing team.

In case your submission was accepted as a full paper you would be willing to switching to our new format “Conference Gallery”, please reach out to us. The Conference Gallery offers the possibility to submit pre-recorded contributions and engage in live discussions with participants.

If you want to switch to the Gallery format, please send a brief email to ist2020@ait.ac.at with the subject line “Conference Gallery” with your submission number and abstract title. We especially encourage those authors with more than one accepted contribution to check on their priorities, thank you!

Paper format guidelines

The full paper needs to be uploaded to the conference management system (EasyChair) by July 24th. We encourage you to stick to 5,000- 10,000 words including references, tables and figures. Manuscripts should be of very good quality, i.e. as if you would submit them to a peer-reviewed journal such as EIST.

Although no (printed) conference proceedings will be published, it is foreseen to make pdf manuscripts available to the conference participants for a limited time.
